Are you Canadian? I suspect you are Canadian.
The way oversimple answer is that Amazon.ca and amazon.de and amazon.co.uk did an astonishingly poor job of managing their preorders for reasons that I do not understand and they have not been able to explain with any kind of clarity. I signed plenty of books; they had plenty of books; I don’t understand wtf they did wrong.
