Kat Rosenfield’s debut novel AMELIA ANNE IS DEAD AND GONE, edited and published by the great Julie Strauss-Gabel, has been nearly universally praised by critics. Like, imagine if Sara Zarr and I had a really awesome baby. I’ll admit to a bias toward books Julie publishes—she has good taste, but more importantly she’s a great editor. But AMELIA ANNE is just damn good, and I hope it finds the audience it deserves. I believe there are still readers for top-class literary YA fiction.
