(I’ve started a DFTBA Records newsletter talking about what’s going on each month and highlighting new/awesome/etc. stuff available. I used to write newsletters very early in my writing career, and now I get to do it for a company I love and believe in, where your purchases support many made-of-awesome people around the world, from painters in Malaysia to Internet heartthrobs living in London. I’m John Green and this is the DFTBA.com newsletter, which comes once every month, except for the months we forget about. It’s been a quiet month here at your friendly neighborhood e-tailer, and by quiet I mean INSANE. The DFTBA warehouse looks like a grocery store the day before a hurricane: You’ve ransacked the shelves, friends, and we are grateful for it. So while you’ll certainly find some items out of stock, we still have many wonderful things that make excellent holiday gifts, or also non-holiday gifts.

(Side note: If you live in the US, orders placed now will still arrive before Christmas. If you do not live in the US, well, your men’s national soccer team is probably better than ours, so that’s something.)

So what DFTBA item should you get for the awesome person in your life? Don’t worry. I have some suggestions.

First, we have JEWELRY! Longtime nerdfighter and typography fan Karen Kavett has made her trademark ampersand necklaces available to the world. Each necklace is handmade by Karen, and they are beautiful. If you are not inclined toward necklaces, there is also a first-rate keychain.

But maybe you are looking for SOMETHING AUTOGRAPHED BY ME. Fear not! Several of Mei Lee’sbeautiful posters of quotes from my books are currently in stock, and two—If You Don’t Say the Honest Thing and More Than a Person—are available with my thoroughly unrare but totally authentic autograph.
