alandistro: Today we packed up the truck to send the entire DFTBA warehouse to Montana for our new warehouse crew to take over. DFTBA started in my bedroom, then moved to a spare bedroom, then my garage, then a small retail space, then to a 3,000 sq ft warehouse, and NOW to an 8,000 sq ft warehouse out in Montana. This is a big day for DFTBA Records, the little merch company that could. I’m really excited about the fancy new warehouse! When Hank and Alan were like, “It’s 2008. We should start a record company,” I thought they were bananas.  They were bananas, but by bringing cool things into the world and staying true to their vision of an artist-driven company, they’ve built something really wonderful. DFTBA has helped nerdfighters go to college without debt; it’s helped YouTubers be able to make videos full-time; and it has allowed my mustachioed face to grace many thousands of torsos. Thanks to everyone who’s made stuff with us and everyone who’s bought stuff from us. Rest assured that while the warehouse may get bigger, the company’s values won’t change. DFTBA!
